According to Khaama Press, Pakistan will provide professional training in security, traffic control, firefighting, air forecasting, and airport administration to Afghanistan’s aviation professionals.
The bilateral agreement was struck during the visit of Afghanistan’s foreign minister to Pakistan, according to a statement released by the Afghan embassy in Pakistan.
Kabul and Islamabad have also agreed to conduct ten flights each week between the two capitals, with two large planes and the rest being tiny planes.
The number of seats will be expanded from 1,000 to 1,500, and planes would be able to fly to Kabul, Mazar-e-Sharif, and Kandahar from any airport in Pakistan, according to the statement.
