On December 12, Tuesday, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced that the Class 10 board exams are scheduled to take place from February 15 to March 13, while the Class 12 board exams will be conducted from February 15 to April 2.

Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj emphasized that in formulating the date sheet, the board considered the importance of maintaining a sufficient gap between the subjects. Additionally, the schedule for Class 12 took into account the dates of competitive exams like JEE.

Bhardwaj further elaborated that the meticulous preparation of the date sheets involved avoiding more than 40,000 subject combinations to prevent any overlap in exam dates, ensuring a smooth and fair examination process.

For Class 10, exams for five subjects—Painting, Rai, Gurung, Tamang, and Sherpa—are scheduled on February 15. Similarly, the first day of Class 12 exams will cover four subjects—Entrepreneurship, Kokborok, Capital market operation, and Physical activity trainer.
