Twitter has filed a lawsuit against Mr. Musk and requested a judge in Delaware to require him to consummate the merger at the agreed-upon price of $54.20 per share.

Because of this, Twitter requested that the judge deny Mr. Musk’s request to set the trial date for February.

The richest man in the world, Mr. Musk, said that San Francisco-based Twitter hurried the trial to hide the facts about spam accounts and “railroad” him into purchasing the business.
