Beijing: The National Health Commission of China, which has published daily COVID-19 case figures for the country for the past three years or so, announced on Sunday that it will no longer do so.
“Relevant COVID information will be published for reference and research by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention,” the NHC said in a statement, without explaining why the change was made or how frequently China CDC will update COVID information.
