Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has stated that the date for the “largest protest in Pakistan’s history” will be finalised within the next few days. “In the next phase of our campaign for true freedom, we must go all-in. I will provide a date in the coming days “Khan was quoted in the Dawn newspaper as saying.
Imran Khan told the PTI’s National Council meeting in Islamabad that his party is consulting with its lawyers but that party workers should be prepared. “It will be the largest demonstration in the country’s history. This is our legal right.”
Following his ouster from power, Khan has held several rallies, repeating the foreign conspiracy accusations and his criticism of the Shehbaz Sharif government as the “selected government.”

During a recent rally, the embattled PTI chief even stated that if the establishment does not make the right decisions, Pakistan will “break up into three parts.”

According to Pakistan analyst Zahid Hussain in an opinion piece for Dawn, such reckless declarations by a former prime minister raise serious questions about his motivations.

“He would prefer military involvement to allowing the political process to unfold naturally. His destructive populist politics endangers not only democracy but also national security “Hussain stated.

Pakistan Defense Minister Khwaja Asif said on Wednesday that Imran Khan was attempting to reach out to the founding in order to get out of a difficult situation.
