On Monday, President Joe Biden responded to a question on inflation by referring to a Fox News reporter as a vulgarity.
The president was in the White House East Room for a meeting of his Competition Council, which is focused on modifying regulations and enforcing laws to assist consumers in dealing with excessive costs. Following Biden’s speech, reporters in the room yelled a number of questions.
Fox News’ Peter Doocy questioned Biden about inflation, which is nearing a four-decade high and has harmed the president’s public approval. Doocy’s network has been outspoken in its criticism of Biden.
“Do you think inflation is a political liability in the run-up to the midterms?” Doocy was interested in learning more.
“It’s a terrific asset — more inflation,” Biden sarcastically answered. “What a foolish son of a bitch,” he added after shaking his head.

A call for response from the White House went unanswered right away.
The White House has stated repeatedly that it is focused on lowering inflation, with Vice President Biden refocusing his entire economic agenda on the subject. However, the president has shown a propensity to take on the media, particularly Fox News and Doocy, which he believes is too critical.
