Former US President Barack Obama confirmed on Sunday that he had tested positive for the coronavirus, despite the fact that he is feeling OK and that his wife, Michelle, had tested negative.

Despite the fact that the number of people infected with the coronavirus is dropping in the United States, Obama encouraged more people to be vaccinated. Over the preceding week, there were around 35,000 infections on average, down dramatically from mid-January, when the average was closer to 800,000.
According to the CDC, 75.2 percent of adults in the United States are completely vaccinated, with 47.7% of those who are fully vaccinated receiving a booster dose.
