Certainly, the US Embassy in Lebanon is advising American citizens to leave the country due to the growing risk of the Israel-Hamas conflict extending its impact.

According to the embassy’s security alert, “The State Department is suggesting that U.S. citizens currently in Lebanon should depart at this time, taking advantage of available commercial flights, given the unpredictable security conditions.”

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah has also issued threats regarding the escalating conflict between the Israeli Defense Forces and Hamas.

Additionally, the embassy emphasizes the importance of having a crisis plan that doesn’t solely rely on U.S. government assistance, highlighting that evacuations by the U.S. military from foreign countries are rare.

Certainly, Russia’s support for Hamas has caused controversy. Russia has referred to Israel as an “occupying power” and questioned its right to self-defense. It’s a viewpoint that has raised significant diplomatic tensions.

Regarding the evacuation of U.S. citizens in crisis situations, the U.S. government cannot guarantee such evacuations. As a result, there is a limitation on emergency visa services and visa processing to prioritize the evacuation of U.S. civilians for their safety.
