Josh Duggar, the star of TLC’s “19 Kids and Counting,” was arrested in Arkansas on Thursday and is now in federal custody.

According to local news station KNWA, Duggar lost a real estate lawsuit last year, and a company where he is listed as a contact is being investigated by the FBI.

There is no bond set, and no reason for the arrest has been given.

After 15 seasons, TLC’s reality show was cancelled in 2015. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar told Fox News at the time that their son, Josh, had molested four of their daughters as a teenager, as well as a family babysitter. When the allegations were first made public, he stated that he had no knowledge of them “I am deeply sorry and regret acting inexcusably. Others, including my family and close friends, have been harmed as a result of my actions.”

Josh admitted to having a pornography addiction and cheating on his wife, Anna, in August 2015. After that, he went to a six-month treatment programme.

. In a statement at the time, Duggar said, “I have been the biggest hypocrite ever.” “I am ashamed of the double life I have led and grieve for the hurt, pain, and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, but most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him.”

Anna and Josh recently revealed that they are expecting their seventh child, a daughter, this fall.

Mackynzie, eleven, Michael, nine, Marcus, seven, Meredith, five, Mason, three, and Maryella, seventeen months, are the couple’s children.

Insider sought comment from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Duggar’s representatives but did not receive a response right away.
