Amid rumors of an assassination plot against former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Islamabad police force said on Saturday night that security agencies had been placed on high alert in the city’s Bani Gala neighborhood. Section 144 has been imposed in Islamabad, and public gatherings have been prohibited, according to an Islamabad police spokesperson on Saturday.
