A single-engine plane crashed into a North Logan home Saturday night, killing one person, according to authorities.

According to a written statement from the Federal Aviation Administration, the single-engine SeaRey LSX plane collided with a residence at 2195 Meadow Lark Lane around 8:30 p.m.

North Park Police Chief Ulysses Black told KSL later that evening that the plane’s only occupant had been certified deceased at the site. According to him, the house was unoccupied at the time of the accident.

The cause of the collision was unknown as of Saturday night.

On Saturday evening, a small plane collided with a residence in North Logan. The pilot has dead, according to emergency responders on radio traffic.

The plane crashed into the north side of a house around 2200 Meadowlark Lane in North Logan, Utah, near the Idaho border.
