The first black female blind barrister in Britain is a British lawyer who made history. After five years of study at the University of Law in London, Jessikah Inaba, 23, graduated last week. She completed her full course using Braille, and according to The Times UK, she gives credit to her friends and teachers for filling in the blanks. Ms. Inaba added in a statement to the source, "I am confident in my ability to perform this work successfully, and it will get simpler as more people who are like me complete the necessary training. I am conscious of the fact that I am inspiring people who are going through similar things."
