Amid rumors of an assassination plot against former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Islamabad police force said on Saturday night that security agencies had been placed on high alert in the city’s Bani Gala neighborhood. Section 144 has been imposed in Islamabad, and public gatherings have been prohibited, according to an Islamabad police spokesperson on Saturday.
“Because of the expected delivery of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in Bani Gala, an Islamabad residential area, security has been increased and a high alert has been issued. However, Islamabad Police has yet to receive confirmation of Imran Khan’s team’s return “The Islamabad Police Department tweeted.
“The Security Division has dedicated security in Bani Gala. Police have not yet received a list of people in Bani Gala. Section 144 is in effect in Islamabad, and any congregation is prohibited by District Magistrate orders “it said.
“Islamabad Police will provide total security to Imran Khan in accordance with the law, and reciprocal cooperation is anticipated from Imran Khan’s security teams as well,” the police added.
Hassaan Niazi, Imran Khan’s nephew, stated that anything that happens to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief will be considered an attack on Pakistan.
“Anything that happens to our Prime Minister Imran Khan will be interpreted as an attack on Pakistan. The Handlers will regret their aggressive response “Hassaan Niazi, Imran Khan’s nephew, stated.
Fawad Chaudhry previously stated that PTI Chairman Imran Khan will visit Islamabad on Sunday.
Fawad Chaudhary stated in April that the country’s security agencies had reported a ‘plot’ to assassinate Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
“Following these reports, the ex-prime minister’s safety has been increased in accordance with the company’s plan,” he was quoted as saying by Pakistani newspaper Dawn.
Faisal Vawda, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, also claimed that a plot was hatched to decapitate the former Prime Minister because he refused to “sell the country.”
In response to the letter’s mention of an assassination plot against Imran Khan, Vawda stated that there was a threat to the former Pakistan Prime Minister’s life but remained evasive.
He also claimed Khan was advised to wear bulletproof glasses throughout his rally at Islamabad’s Parade Ground. “But, as he always does, he said, “My [death] will come when Allah wills.” Don’t be concerned, “Dawn cited Vawda’s statement.
