Eva Mireles’s daughter, brutally murdered in Tuesday’s gun massacre at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, has authored a heartfelt tribute in her mother’s memory. Adalynn Ruiz took to social media to share an emotional letter in which she wrote, “My sweet mommy, I will miss you forever.”
In her heartfelt tribute to her mother, Ms. Adalynn addressed her mother as “the half that makes me whole”. She referred to her mother as a “hero” for attempting to save her students’ lifestyles by shielding them from the teen gunman who killed 19 children in her classroom. “I just want to hear your voice,” the daughter wrote before remembering her mother playing with the dogs in the morning.

Ms Eva was in the classroom where 18-year-old Salvador Ramos slaughtered another teacher, Irma Garcia, and 19 students. The 44-year-old was a teacher for 17 years and loved running, hiking, and biking, according to Hollywood Life.

Ms Adalynn commended her mother’s hard work as a teacher and CrossFit enthusiast, her love of actions such as Karaoke, and the “silly voice” she used when talking to her dogs in her social media post. Ms Adalynn stated that her mother would call her all day at 4:30 p.m. after school and that she will be “so proud” to be her mother’s daughter for the rest of her life.
“I have no words to express how I feel quite right now, tomorrow, as well as for the rest of my life, Mom.” I never imagined I’d be writing this type of post for you. “You are a hero, Mom,” Ms Adalynn wrote.

“I want to hug you one more time and feel the hard skin on your hands because you were not only a teacher during the day but also the most dedicated crossfitter in the afternoon… I want it all back. “I want you to return to me, mom,” she added.
Ms Adalynn went on to say that she doesn’t “know how to do this life without you” and that she will look after her father. “My heart will be broken forever,” she said. My twin, my best friend, was taken from me.” She thanked her mother for being an inspiration at the end of the heartbreaking letter and promised to see her again.
