Sunday, Camilla, the future Queen Consort of Britain, praised Queen Elizabeth II for establishing herself as a “solitary woman” in a male-dominated world. Queen Elizabeth, who ascended to the throne in 1952 at just 25, was described as having it “very difficult” by King Charles III’s wife in her first public remarks since the late monarch’s passing. Her recorded remarks to BBC television were scheduled to appear later on Sunday, just before the national moment of silence at 8:00 p.m. (1900 GMT).

“We have always included her in our life. Now that I’m 75, I don’t recall anyone else being there than The Queen “said Camilla.

“Being a single lady must have been really challenging for her.

“Women were not presidents or prime ministers. She was the sole one, thus I believe she created her own position.”

Camilla added: “And in honor of my late mother-in-law.” “She has those gorgeous blue eyes that, when she smiles, illuminate her entire face.

“Her smile is one I’ll never forget. That smile is enduring.”

In February of this year, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of her coronation, Queen Elizabeth put an end to any disagreements regarding Camilla’s name after her eldest son Charles succeeded to the throne.

As she “continues her own dedicated service,” the monarch stated that it was her “sincere wish” to be referred to as the Queen Consort.

After gradually overcoming years-long popular opposition, Camilla has assumed the job with the least amount of fuss.

With the new monarch, Camilla has been touring the country. Along with these events, she also participated in a brief walkabout in front of Buckingham Palace, the coronation of the new king, and travels to Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales.

After a protracted, at times adulterous relationship, Charles and Camilla were ultimately married in 2005.

Many Britons have long harbored animosity toward Camilla and hold her responsible for the dissolution of Charles’s first union with Diana, Princess of Wales.

Despite not being the most popular royal, Camilla’s popularity has significantly increased.
