A frightening video of young people storming a McDonald’s restaurant in the UK has surfaced on social media. The staff watches in alarm as the teenagers are seen snatching hamburgers and soft beverages. The event reportedly happened on Sunday in Nottingham’s downtown, according to the BBC. Furthermore, it said that the teenager leaped over the counter to steal food and beverages. Police said they are considering the incident as a commercial burglary and have not made any arrests in connection with it. As a gang of 50 “youths” pack into a restaurant in Nottingham’s city center, McDonald’s food is taken. At least 50 teenagers between the ages of 14 and 16 reportedly flocked to the Clumber Street branch at around 9 p.m. local time, according to a BBC report.

According to the outlet, some of the teens—seven of them—jumped across the counter to grab the food that was being prepared while others recorded the incident on their phones.

About 20 of them, according to a later police statement, verbally insulted and threatened McDonald’s employees.

Later, they claimed that the gang had targeted a different store in Milton Street, Nottingham, but had fled the area as police arrived.

“This event is one we are taking very seriously. The trio forced their way behind the counter of a business and took food and soft beverages, making this a commercial burglary. This is wholly unacceptable “In a statement, a representative for Nottinghamshire Police said.

After the employees rejected her order last month, a woman climbed through the window of one of the McDonald’s locations into the kitchen and prepared her own lunch.

The video was first shared on TikTok and then spread to other websites. It featured a woman who was attempting to “train” herself by working alongside the personnel at the fast-food restaurant and making her own takeout order. Many viewers wanted to know if she was able to obtain meals after the video went viral.
