Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has reiterated his claims of a foreign conspiracy behind his ouster, saying he knew the “match was fixed” when a no-confidence motion was introduced against him. Trying to address a rally here on Saturday night, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder sought to know from the people, including women, whether his current regime was the victim of “conspiracy or interference,” an apparent indirect reference to a recent media conference by a top officer that refuted Khan’s allegations.

“Karachi, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’ve come to discuss some very important issues because the issue concerns your and your children’s future. This plot against our country…

“I want you to pay close attention to see if this was a conspiracy or an interference,” he said in a demonstration of strength in the shadows of the Quaid-e-Azam Mausoleum.

“Raise your hands and tell me whether it was an interference or a conspiracy,” he continued.

“I want the nation to know that I’ve never been against any country.” I’m not anti-India, Europe, or the United States. I stand in solidarity with the rest of the world’s humanity. I have nothing against any country. “I want to be friends with everyone, but I don’t want to be slave to anyone,” Khan stated.

“I was told by a journalist that ‘a lot of money is being spent on us.’ Thus, the conspiracy had been in the works for some time before our US ambassador met Donald Lu (US assistant secretary of state for South and Central Asian affairs),” he claimed.

The former prime minister also continued to air his grievances against the judiciary, claiming that he had never broken the law.

He wanted to know what crime he had committed that prompted the judiciary to open courts at midnight last Saturday.

“I founded two of Pakistan’s largest charitable organisations.” Shaukat Khanum and two universities were founded by me. “I am the only politician in Pakistan who has been asserted sadiq and ameen by the Supreme Court,” he said.

Using cricket terminology, the cricketer-turned-politician stated that when the vote of no-confidence was moved against him, he knew the “match was fixed.”

“What bothered me the most was that courts opened at midnight.” “Why didn’t the judiciary take suo motu notice and investigate the cable when the then-deputy speaker issued his ruling on a foreign conspiracy, and why did it remain silent when an open market was set up and lawmakers were being sold?” he asked.
