According to local media, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) killed at least six accused terrorists in Pakistan’s Balochistan province during an operation in the Eastern Bypass region of the provincial capital Quetta.

Six accused terrorists from a banned organisation were slain during an operation, according to ARY News, quoting the CTD.

The terrorist hideout yielded weapons and bomb materials.

According to the statement, one of the suspected terrorists had a bounty of Rs 2 million on his head.

In Pakistan’s northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region, two terrorists were killed in a confrontation with police earlier on Saturday.

According to CTP officials, in the early hours of Saturday, they carried out an operation based on an intelligence tip-off. Terrorists opened fire on CTD personnel throughout the operation, which was met with a fierce retaliation.
