Billionaire Elon Musk said on Tuesday that SpaceX’s Starlink services have not received funding from the US Department of Defense (DoD), despite reports that the Pentagon is considering paying for the Starlink satellite network in war-torn Ukraine.

SpaceX is losing approximately $20 million per month due to unpaid service and costs associated with cyberwar defence security measures, but “we’ll keep doing it (sigh)”, Mr Musk tweeted.

The purchase of 11k/25k terminals is being funded by a number of other nations, organisations, and people, according to Mr. Musk.

The CEO of Tesla Inc. and the wealthiest man in the world, Mr. Musk, claimed that SpaceX has spent roughly $80 million to allow and sustain satellite services in Ukraine, spending about $20 million each month on maintenance.
