One of the most famous beauty pageants, Miss World, has been postponed owing to Covid-19 concerns.

The grand finale of this year’s beauty pageant, which was set to take place in Puerto Rico, was cancelled after numerous candidates tested positive for Covid-19 and has been temporarily postponed owing to health and safety concerns of contestants, personnel, crew, and the general public.

The broadcast will be rescheduled in Puerto Rico Coliseum Jose Miguel Agrelot within the next 90 days, according to an official statement posted by organisers on Miss Worl’s official Instagram profile.

“Due to health and safety concerns among contestants, workers, and crew, Miss World 2021 has temporarily postponed the global broadcast finals in Puerto Rico.” In the next 90 days, the finals will be held at the Jose Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in Puerto Rico.” An example of a statement is the following:

17 contestants and crew members tested positive for COVID-19, prompting the decision.

“SAN JUAN, PRINCE ROYAL, PRINCE ROYAL, PRINCE ROYAL, PRIN The event organisers have decided to postpone the globally broadcast finale at the Puerto RicoColiseum Jose Miguel Agrelot to be held within the next 90 days after meeting with the virologists and medical experts hired to oversee the Miss World 2021 event and discussing with the Puerto Rico Health Department.

The concert was scheduled on December 16 at San Juan’s Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot.

According to the press statement, “as of yesterday, additional safety measures were adopted in the best interest of the players, production team, and viewers, knowing the event enhanced hazards on the stage and in the dressing room.” After consulting with health officials and doctors, the decision to postpone was made this morning after further positive cases were confirmed.”

“The next step, according to medical experts, is immediate quarantine, pending further monitoring and testing in accordance with best practises in such cases.” Only after receiving authorization from health officials and advisors can contestants and related staff return to their home countries.”

Miss India World 2020 is an annual pageant held in India. Manasa Varanasi, a Hyderabad native who was representing India at the Miss World 2021 event, has also contracted the virus and will return to India.

“We were astounded that she (Manasa Varanasi) might not be able to grace the international stage despite her enormous hard work and dedication,” the Miss India Organization remarked on their official Instagram page. “However, we are most concerned about her safety.”

“We can not wait to welcome Manasa home, heal her, and send her back stronger, better, and happier,” the statement stated.
