According to the New York police, severed body parts were discovered inside bags inside a Brooklyn residence on Wednesday afternoon. The horrifying occurrence was discovered by the cops at roughly 1:30 pm, according to the New York Post article. They were contacted when a bad odor was noticed in a property on the sixth level of 315 Linwood Street in East New York.
The 20-year-old woman who resided in the apartment had been reported missing by the neighbors for a number of days.
The apartment reportedly included blood and human remains.
According to the New York Post, investigators have reportedly identified a person of interest who is currently being sought for questioning.
The site added that the woman and her boyfriend frequently quarrelled in the apartment where they both lived. Her partner is being sought after by the police.
The identity of the alleged victim has not yet been revealed.
Not immediately available was any other information regarding the current investigations. However, sources claimed that the medical examiner reviewed the results and would probably release more details on Thursday.
