In the 2020 medical entrance examination, Odisha’s NEET aspirant, Shoyeb Aftab wrote a history on Friday with a perfect score of 720 out of 720. The NTA announced the results on Friday.
As Per Resources reported,” Shoyeb Aftab, an 18-year-old from Rourkela (Odisha), achieved the All India Ranking 1 in NEET 2020,”
Marks required to qualify for NEET:
As Per Resources reported, “In order to qualify for NEET or to be admitted to MBBS / BSD courses in India-based institutes, in the General category, students must obtain a minimum of 50th percentile in the exam. In the reserved category of students, the minimum score required to qualify is 40th percentile and in the PwD category, it is 45th percentile.”
The education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank tweeted:
