Trump Wanted the Department Of justice to Back His Lie: US Riot Panel

Donald Trump is doing it again, putting his personal goals and zeal for vengeance ahead of national interest, as he once again seeks Russian President Vladimir Putin’s political assistance in the midst of Ukraine’s brutality. Trump’s request that the Kremlin strongman digs up dirt on President Joe Biden comes as no surprise. He has previously called on Russia and China to interfere in US elections in order to boost his chances, and he was impeached for attempting to blackmail Ukraine into doing the same.

However, this may be the ex-most President’s twisted and pathological attempt yet to corruptly advance his own political career in advance of a possible White House bid in 2024. His reasoning appears to be clear. Putin may be committing atrocities against Ukrainian citizens, bombing hospitals and apartment buildings, razing entire cities, and sending 4 million refugees west into Europe. But Trump appears willing to disregard all of that in the name of his own perceived interests.

Not only is Trump attempting to concoct a self-serving conspiracy with a Russian President whom the majority of the world now considers to be a war criminal. He’s also requesting that a US adversary, who has threatened nuclear war, harm the American commander-in-chief, who is leading the West in an effort to aid an innocent, invaded nation and save democracy.

Trump’s latest appeal provides a glimpse into his twisted morality, as he aligns himself once more with Putin, whom he referred to as a “genius” earlier in the Ukraine crisis, despite the fact that much of his own party condemned the invasion. And it raises important questions about the patriotism of an ex-President who sometimes hugs the stars and stripes at rallies but frequently demonstrated during his presidency that he only cared about his own interests.

In an interview with the sympathetic conservative news network Just the News, Trump made his public appeal to Putin. He tried to push an unproven claim about Hunter Biden’s potential dealings in Russia, and he asked Putin to release any information he had about the situation. “I’d think Putin would know the answer,” Trump said. “I believe he should make it public. I believe we should know the answer.” It’s unclear whether any material exists or whether the Kremlin has access to it.

Reported Wednesday, citing multiple sources, that a Justice Department investigation into the President’s son is gaining traction. According to multiple sources, investigators are looking into whether Hunter Biden and some of his associates violated money laundering, tax, and foreign lobbying laws, as well as firearm and other regulations. Hunter Biden, on the other hand, has not been charged with a crime and has denied any wrongdoing. According to sources who have been briefed, his father is not being investigated as part of the investigation into his son’s business activities.
