Police in Greenville, South Carolina, are looking for a man who smacked a woman in the face with a plate of whipped cream. According to a Greenville Police Department Facebook post, officers were called to an assault near the Main Street bridge last week after a woman walking on the sidewalk with her child in a stroller was hit with a plate full of whipped cream. According to the police department, there have been “multiple such instances.” They even released a photo of the man who committed the crime.
According to the WSPA news outlet, the suspect was later identified as 22-year-old Andre Eugene Moore-Gerald of Greenville. They issued an arrest warrant for him on a misdemeanour assault and battery charge. Authorities stated that they identified the suspect based on a surveillance video and his YouTube videos of a similar incident in which he was wearing the same clothing, posted under the username “Savage dre.”

It’s worth noting that Mr Moore-YouTube Gerald’s channel features two “pie in the face” prank videos from earlier this month, including one in which he enters a movie theatre but leaves without attacking anyone after an employee asks him to. He referred to the act as a “social experiment.” The prankster then turned his attention to a woman pushing a cart and attacked her from behind, shoving a plate of whipped cream in her face before fleeing.

Mr Moore-Gerald even decided to post an apology video on social media this week, stating that he did not want to stop uploading content to his channel. “I didn’t mean to hurt anyone,” he explained. “It was really just a prank,” he added.

Police are still going to look for Mr Moore-Gerald. According to the New York Post, police went to his last known address, but he was not there. The woman who was assaulted, on the other hand, was unharmed.
