According to local media, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has given Prime Minister Imran Khan a 24-hour deadline to resign and dissolve the assembly or face being ousted through a no-trust motion.
Addressing the Awami March participants in Lalamusa on Monday, the PPP leader said that Imran Khan and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government would be deposed through all democratic means, according to The News International.

The selected (Imran Khan) has become so terrified that he has begun abusing and labeling his political opponents, according to the PPP leader.

In response to the alleged link between the Imran Khan government and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), he stated that the country has rejected the government’s economic policies and is protesting ‘PTIMF’ (PTI + IMF).

According to the media outlet, Mr. Bhutto-Zardari blamed the country’s economic crisis on the “puppet” Prime Minister, saying that the common man was drowning in a tsunami of inflation.

The Imran Khan government begged for loans three times larger than those previously obtained, according to the PPP leader, who added that the people could no longer bear the burden of his mistakes.

Meanwhile, as Pakistan continues to grapple with a severe economic crisis, opposition parties have criticised the Imran Khan government’s relief measures as insufficient. They keep putting pressure on Pakistan’s Prime Minister.

By filing a no-confidence motion against Imran Khan’s government, the opposition parties are abandoning their mutual animosity in order to depose him. However, Imran Khan has expressed confidence in the motion’s failure and stated that the opposition will face consequences.
