ISLAMABAD: For the second year in a row, Pakistani scientist Mubashir Husain Rehmani has been named among the top 1% of the world’s most prominent computer scientists.

Clarivate Analytics compiled the list, which recognises scholars who have had a substantial impact in their area through the publishing of cited articles over the previous decade.

Mubashir Rehmani’s research interests include wireless networks, blockchain, cognitive radio networks, and software-defined networks.

He has published approximately 100 peer-reviewed publications, 12 of which were referenced often by Clarivate.

Rehmani is an assistant lecturer at Munster Technological University in Ireland, having graduated from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology.

According to Clarivate, Rehmani authored 100 peer-reviewed publications, 12 of which were highly referenced, covering topics such as wireless networks, blockchain, cognitive radio networks, and software-defined networks.

Every year, Clarivate creates a list of the world’s most cited scholars, emphasising the top 1% of scientists based on citations.

This year’s list includes 31 Irish scholars who have a substantial impact in their disciplines.
