FORMER River City actor Brian Cowan died suddenly when he was 58 years old.

Brian, who starred in the BBC soap as Murray Crozier, was found at home near Falkirk by close friends after they could not contact him.

Every week, he played tennis and was a hardcore fan of Falkirk FC. You couldn’t really meet a nicer man.
“He just found time for everyone as well as being a fine actor.”
