Congratulations to Emma Stone and Dave McCary are in order!

According to People and E, the couple are expecting their first child together! News. News. The reports came on Monday after photos of Stone appearing to cradle her baby bump while walking out were posted by the Daily Mail.

People and Page Six reported in September 2020 that the knot had been tied by Stone, 32, and McCary, 35. In a 2018 Elle interview with Jennifer Lawrence, Stone opened up about how her attitudes toward marriage and parenting changed as she got older.

She said, “As a teenager, I was like, I’m never getting married, I’m never having kids,” “And then I got older and I was like, I really want to get married, I really want to have kids.”

People and E! according to In 2017, Stone and McCary began dating. In December 2019, with an image of Stone showing off a pearl and diamond ring on her left ring finger, the two announced their engagement on McCary’s Instagram.

McCary captioned the photo with a simple double heart emoji of the beaming couple. In the picture, in a dark blue sweater, a smiling McCary cuddles up to Stone, who is wearing a white top.

Although the Oscar-winning “La La Land” comedian and actress have kept their relationship relatively out of the public eye, at the 2019 Academy Awards, USA TODAY spotted the two paired up, introducing him to a group during a commercial break.

McCary, 35, also directed the 2017 film “Saturday Night Live,” in addition to writing and directing for “Brigsby Bear.” The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was co-written by Kyle Mooney and Kevin Costello, star of “SNL” Since middle school, the three writers have been best friends.
