Kabul, Afghanistan’s capital, was shaken by two bombs this morning. The explosions happened near a Gurudwara. Sources confirm that multiple gunshots were heard in the neighbourhood. They stated that there are at least 16 worshippers in the Gurudwara, but that the number of victims, if any, is unknown at this time.
This morning, explosions rocked a popular road near the Gurudwara in Kabul’s Karte Parwan neighbourhood. According to local news sources, the area is highly inhabited, and several people are believed to have died.

A bomb exploded in Kabul on June 11, injuring numerous persons.
Tolo News claimed in a tweet that the blast happened at Batkhak Square in Kabul’s 10th district.
“Earlier on Monday, a detonation occurred in Kabul’s Police District-4, involving explosives transported on a bicycle,” according to the Kabul security department.
On May 25, three explosions shook the capital of Afghanistan’s Balkh province, killing at least 9 people and injuring 15. Officials said at least two people were killed in a bomb at the Masjid Sharif Hazrat Zakaria mosque in Kabul City on the same day.
Rina Amiri, the US Special Envoy for Women and Human Rights in Afghanistan, responded to the attacks in Balkh and Kabul by saying that the Taliban must secure people’s safety and prevent crimes.
“The terrible acts in Mazar and Kabul serve no purpose other than to inflict more damage on innocent Afghans who have already endured enough,” Rina Amiri wrote on Twitter.
Earlier, inside the Hazrat Zekriya Mosque, an explosion in a traffic square in Kabul’s fourth police district killed at least 30 people and injured many more.
The Khorasan branch of ISIS, which has been active in Afghanistan since 2014, posed a serious security danger to the Taliban.
Several people, including members of the Hazara Shia community and several children, were killed in recent assaults in Afghanistan, according to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
