Taliban officials in central Daikundi province said they arrested 11 persons suspected of being ISIS-K affiliates, according to local media.
According to Khaama Press, the suspects are from the provinces of Helmand, Ghazni, and Urozgan.
The Taliban have taken control of the suspects’ weapons. During large-scale operations in Kandahar province a few days ago, the Taliban apprehended ten ISIS-K affiliates and killed three more.
According to Taliban officials in Kandahar, the ISIS-four K’s hideouts in the province have been destroyed.
According to Khaama Press, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria’s Khorasan branch is currently the only terror group fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan and killing civilians, mostly Shia Muslims.
