Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan used disparaging language for Opposition leaders on Friday before of the no-confidence move against his government, local media claimed, and threatened them with consequences if the motion failed.

During a public rally at Dir Scouts Ground in Balambat, Pakistan’s Dawn reported that Imran Khan unleashed a stinging attack on the opposition troika of Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Asif Zardari, and Shehbaz Sharif, the three leaders spearheading the no-trust movement against him.

“Showbaz Sharif, Diesel, and Dakoo,” Imran Khan said of the Opposition leaders.

Imran Khan, on the other hand, reserved his most venomous remark for the Jamaat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl) [JUI-F] leader, dismissing instructions he claimed he had gotten from the country’s military leadership, according to the storey.

“I was recently talking to Gen Bajwa (Pakistan Army Chief) about not calling Fazl “diesel.” But I’m not the one saying it. Diesel is the epithet given to him by the people “Imran Khan is claimed to have remarked this in reference to JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

Following Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan’s rhetorical onslaught, Maulana Fazlur Rehman slammed him and ordered him to “keep his struggle political.”

According to Pakistani broadcaster Geo News, he was addressing at a press conference in Islamabad held by the JUI-F chairman and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shahbaz Sharif.

In his presentation, Imran Khan also threatened that a wave of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers would invade Islamabad a day before the National Assembly votes on a no-confidence resolution against him.

After the no-trust motion failed, the Prime Minister warned opposition leaders that they would face his wrath. “It was my fantasy that the opposition would file a no-confidence motion against me in the NA (National Assembly),” he stated, adding that the measure would fail and the opposition would suffer a humiliating defeat, according to the report.

IMran Khan went on to discuss his government’s accomplishments, including the recent release of’relief measures,’ which decreased fuel and electricity tariffs by ten and five percent, respectively.

The remarks come a day after Islamabad Police raided Parliament Lodges and arrested 19 people, including several members of the National Assembly who are opposed to the government.
