According to the interim defence minister, the Taliban will not allow any country to use Afghan military planes that have been flown out of the country. Acting Defense Minister Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, speaking at a ceremony in Kabul on Tuesday, stated that military planes that had been transferred abroad should be returned. The Air Force conducted an exercise during the ceremony, according to a report from Tolo News.

The Defence Minister stated that if the countries that took the military aircraft do not return them, they will be held accountable.

“Our jets that are currently in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan must be returned. We will not allow these jets to stay in the country or be used by other countries “He stated it himself.

“Over 40 helicopters were moved to Uzbekistan and Tajikistan after the last administration collapsed,” he continued.

Afghanistan had around 164 active military aircraft before the fall of the previous administration, but now there are just 81. According to Tolo News, the rest were removed from Afghanistan and transported to other nations.
