Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, responded to a tweet that supposedly displays a secret tape of a Twitter executive discussing why the microblogging website is not lucrative and internal opposition to Mr Musk’s takeover proposal.
“Mr Musk is autistic… So he’s one-of-a-kind… I’m like, you have special needs—you have special needs—you have unique needs—you have special needs… So I’m not sure I believe what you’re saying (Mr Musk).” According to Project Veritas, the Twitter executive is Twitter Lead Client Partner Alex Martinez.
The video was tweeted by Benny Johnson, who bills himself as the “Godfather of the Conservative Internet” and has millions of followers across his social media sites. Mr Johnson tagged Tesla CEO Elon Musk in the video tweet for his comment.

According to the Twitter employee in the video, the firm isn’t profitable because of its woke mindset, and the corporation tends to put the “right” opinions in front of people.
Mr Martinez is also seen in the film criticising Mr Musk’s views on free speech on the platform, saying, “the rest of us who have been here believe in something that’s beneficial for the globe and not simply to give people free speech.”
The latest video comes just one day after a man identified as a senior engineer at Twitter stated that the firm does not believe in free speech and that employees “hated” Mr Musk’s $44 billion takeover attempt.
The Tesla CEO has stated that he will not proceed with the Twitter acquisition unless he receives proof of the number of spam accounts plaguing the network, adding to the uncertainty surrounding his roller-coaster pursuit of the social media behemoth.
This latest development aroused conjecture about whether the world’s richest person was attempting to reduce the price or possibly back out of the contract.
Mr Musk demanded additional information on Tuesday, writing to his almost 94 million Twitter followers: “Yesterday, Twitter’s CEO publicly refused to disclose proof of 5%. This transaction cannot move forward until he does.”
Twitter CEO Parg Agrawal has stated that the platform suspends more than 500,000 allegedly fake accounts daily, generally before they are even visible, and locks millions more monthly that fail checks to ensure they are operated by humans rather than machines.
